For a Taste of Arabia. A fragrant spice blend with warm clove and cardamom notes to make roast lamb a dish fit for a king!
Baharat (ba-hrat) loosely translated means herbs and spices. This voluptuous blend of freshly roasted spices, including paprika, cloves, allspice, pepper, cinnamon and cardamom, brings to mind the mysterious aromas of the Levant.
The classical way to use Baharat is to rub it into a leg of lamb before roasting, but it will complement many meat, vegetable, grain and egg dishes. Also add it to casseroles or baked meats.
Baharat is an all-purpose blend, adding gusto to meatballs, vegetables and pulses. Great for stuffed capsicum or courgettes. Wonderful with lemon or lime in fish dishes.
Use Baharat as well as your imagination to make good food delectable!
